The Wimbledon Championships are always a thrilling time for tennis enthusiasts, bringing the best of the sport to the forefront of global attention. But this year, SW19 Design & Print had a unique role to play off the court. When the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) approached us with an urgent request during the tournament, we knew we had to bring our A-game.
During the buzzing excitement of the Championships, the WTA was hosting a prestigious dinner event aimed at raising funds to combat rising levels of malnutrition and hunger, particularly among women. With just five hours on the clock, the WTA needed custom-designed and printed materials that would both elevate the event’s ambience and reinforce its critical message.
Our mission was clear:
With the clock ticking, we mobilised our team, knowing that delivering quality under pressure is what sets SW19 Design & Print apart.
Our first task was to design and produce the 52 name tags. We understood that these tags needed to be more than just functional; they had to embody the prestige of the event and the WTA’s brand. Working swiftly, our design team created elegant, visually appealing name tags that captured the essence of the WTA and the importance of the evening’s cause.
Simultaneously, our designers tackled the table talkers. Each of the three designs needed to be unique but cohesive, reinforcing the evening’s theme of improving women’s nutrition on a global scale. We incorporated compelling visuals and concise messaging, ensuring that each table talker was not only informative but also engaging for the guests.
Once the designs were finalised, our state-of-the-art printing equipment took over, ensuring that every detail was crisp, every colour vibrant, and every piece met our high standards of quality. With precision and care, we completed the entire project within the five-hour window, delivering the materials to the WTA just in time for their event.
The dinner event was a resounding success, with the WTA raising significant funds to support their ongoing efforts in combating malnutrition. The personalised name tags added a touch of class, making each guest feel recognised and valued. Meanwhile, the table talkers effectively communicated the critical issues at hand, helping to inspire generosity and action among the attendees.
The WTA’s commitment to women’s nutrition extends far beyond this single event. They continue to work alongside leaders in France and other countries, leveraging their global platform to raise awareness and drive change. By partnering with experts and advocating for policies that support better nutrition for women, the WTA is playing a vital role in addressing one of the most pressing health issues of our time.
At SW19 Design & Print, we are honoured to have been a part of this important initiative. As the WTA continues its mission to elevate women’s nutrition and health, we stand ready to support them with the same level of dedication and excellence that we brought to this year’s Wimbledon Championships.
This experience reinforced what we at SW19 Design & Print already knew: that when the stakes are high, we deliver. Whether it’s a rush job for a prestigious event or a long-term project, we bring creativity, precision, and a commitment to excellence to everything we do. We look forward to many more collaborations with the WTA and other organisations that are making a difference in the world.
