Brochure Printing Finishes and Binding

Binding Options

We offer a range of binding solutions depending on who will receive your brochure, including

Stapled/Saddle Stitched

Stapled booklets are versatile and can be made from various materials. You can choose thicker cardstock or speciality finishes for the cover and a range of paper stocks for the inner pages. You can add lamination for extra protection and customization. Saddle stitch binding is cost-effective and flexible, allowing you to tailor the materials and finishes to suit your needs.

Perfect Bind Booklets

Perfect-bound books use adhesive to bind pages and covers, creating a professional finish. It's great for higher page counts publications like paperbacks, magazines, and catalogues, and offers diverse paper stock options for covers and inner pages, from heavyweight cardstock to standard text-weight paper, along with glossy or matte finishes for customization.

Thermal Bind

Thermal binding mimics perfect binding's appearance for softcover books, achieved through a heat process that activates glue, adhering pages to the spine. Separate thermal glue strips allow for custom/original covers. This method is suitable for individuals seeking a professional finish akin to perfect binding, offering versatility customization and choices.

Comb or Wire Bind

Spiral binding, also known as coil binding, is a popular option for binding small print projects. It uses a plastic or metal wire coil threaded through evenly spaced holes punched into the spinal edge of the cover and pages to hold them together. The coils are available in various colours and diameters to match the cover and number of pages in the booklet.

Finishes

We offer a range of solutions to enhance your brochure.

Spot Varnish

Add shine and depth to highlight specific areas of your design, such as brand logos or titles

Spot Foil

Add foil to lettering or graphics in your brochure to give a high-end feel.
